Launch is both a co-working space (cost shared office space) and a makerspace. A makerspace provides a space to make things. Instead of having to buy an expensive tool or turn a whole room into a studio you can use my tools and space to create. Use of the makerspace is only $5 per day and is included in our monthly plans.
Videography/Photography – I currently have a green screen area setup with four lights and a tripod. You are welcome to use my iPads or a decent Canon camera that I have available. Bring your own props and backdrops if you would like. I’m hoping local photographers will benefit from having an indoor space as the weather gets colder and makes outdoor photography more of a challenge. Ever wanted to do videos for YouTube? This would also be a great location for that purpose.
Cricut Cutter – I have Cricut Explore Air 2 available for use. It is able to cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, poster board, iron-on material and bonded fabric. Bring your supplies and get started on your next project.
Sewing Machine/Serger – I have my simple sewing machine and serger here or you are welcome to bring your own. We have nice big tables that can be used for cutting. I’m here to help if you are a beginner seamstress. I sew mostly clothes, but we are located next door to the quilt shop if you need quilting help.
Robotics – If you’ve been interested in learning circuitry, coding or robotics I have everything from Snap Circuits to Raspberry Pi projects. Come and see if you have a knack for learning this new technology with me to guide you.
Other equipment has been ordered from Kickstarter and I’m looking forward to delivery of a 3-D printer/laser printer/CNC machine in January.
Please come see what I have to offer. I’d love to have a building full of people working on neat projects.
